Why do very few people succeed in affiliate marketing?

I believe this can be answered with 2 simple words… unrealistic expectations.

Becoming successful in affiliate marketing isn’t going to happen overnight. You come in bright-eyed and bushy-tailed expecting to have a Ferrari in your driveway within a month. It doesn’t work that way.

So, you’ve spent 13 hours a day for a month straight performing endless research and marketing to your hearts content and you’re not even close to that Ferrari. How can that be?

Do you know how many times I’ve asked myself that exact question? How is it possible that I’m giving this my all and I’m not seeing results? I’m doing EVERYTHING right! The bottom line is… the internet doesn’t work at YOUR pace. Not only does search engine optimization take time, if you’re not creating NEW content, you’re going to get lost somewhere out there in the world wide web! Your original content will never make it into primary search engine results.

So, it’s basically a “catch 22” situation. You create amazing content, you promote / market it and then you sit back and wait for the money to flow. Nope! It’s not gonna happen. This is why very few people succeed. Unrealistic expectations!

It’s just human nature. We dedicate every waking moment to a new, exciting venture and when we don’t see immediate results, we give up. “Well, THAT was a big, fat waste of time.” “What a scam!” At that point, another one bites the dust. They’ve given up. It’s not worth their time and effort. They never even gave it a chance.

There’s one guy I watch on YouTube. I’ve actually watched him since the very beginning of my venture. You can go to YouTube and do a search for Deadbeat Super Affiliate. He really is amazing. I’ve learned a LOT from watching his videos.
